$35M expansion for San Marcos CTMC
(Medical : Austin-Round Rock) 11/25/2009

(San Marcos) - Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) will open its $35 million expansion project on Nov. 30 at 1301 Wonder World Drive. The 64,000-sf addition includes:

  • A new Women’s Center with all private rooms;
  • A Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU); and
  • A new cardiac inpatient nursing unit also with all private rooms.

It also includes an on-site, high-risk delivery suite and a customized cesarean section suite. With the expansion, the hospital’s number of licensed beds will increase from 113 to 150.
