NAR: Houston area home prices rise in 3Q 2009
(Housing : Houston-Sugar Land-Baytown) 11/10/2009

(Houston) - The median price of an existing home in the Houston area rose by 0.2 percent to $160,600 during the third quarter, according to figures released by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

The median price in the same quarter last year was $160,200.

Total sales in Texas for the third quarter were up 9.8 percent from the second quarter, but were down 1.9 percent year-over-year.
