Collin County losing 187 jobs next year
(Employment : Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington) 11/9/2009

(Plano) - UniCare Life & Health Insurance will be laying off 187 staff members in Collin County as part of a plan to close its facility in Plano.

UniCare, a WellPoint company, has told the Texas Workforce Commission that it will be shutting down an operating unit at 3820 American Drive in Plano and laying off 187 employees.

The layoffs are scheduled for Jan. 1, March 1 and June 1 of next year.
